Dr. Mike Saatkamp is a chiropractor and special needs father. He has 30 years of clinical experience, 24 years experience as a special needs father, and has committed over 12,000 hours of post doctoral study to understanding the Neurobiology of Movement. He has a special interest in the new field of Interpersonal Neurobiology as developed by Dr. Dan Siegel, author of “The Developing Mind”, and is working to help create world class training for families, like his own, with special needs children. Dr. Mike has studied personally with Dr. Dan Siegel of UCLA, Dr. Paul Saltman, former dean of UCSD, Anat Baniel, world renowned movement expert, Dr. Ted Carrick, founder of the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies, and Dr. Robert Melillo, founder of Brain Balance Achievement Centers. He is a member of the advisory board of the International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation.
